After Final Acceptance to Türkiye Scholarships
What to do after final acceptance: the scholarship agreement, document translation and authentication, consulate submission, the student visa, and travel arrangements.

When final Türkiye Scholarships acceptance is issued, you will receive a message at the email registered on the scholarship website, generally with a PDF of the official acceptance letter attached. Your account on the scholarship website will then show the confirmed acceptance status and a specified period for completing procedures and uploading the required documents.
Do not delay the procedures. The scholarship website gives you a specific period to complete and upload the documents. Prepare everything early so you do not miss the deadline.
The information in this guide is based on the most recent year in which accepted Türkiye Scholarships students completed these procedures. Some details may differ from year to year. Always follow updates on the scholarship website and the Union’s support groups.
Inside your scholarship account, you will find a document called the Scholarship Agreement. It is an official agreement between you and the scholarship provider containing scholarship-specific terms and obligations. Read it carefully, then complete the required fields—name, signature, and date. It will later be used in the consular file and document upload.
Most post-acceptance procedures can be completed in Tripoli or Misrata. Choose the city that suits you and follow its sequence below.
Procedures may change according to instructions from the scholarship, consulate, or official authorities. Treat this page as a practical supporting guide and always check your scholarship account and any instructions received by email.

Tripoli procedure step by step
- 1
Obtain the health certificate and have it stamped by the Ministry of Health
The first step for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students is to obtain a new health certificate from the Reference Medical Laboratory or the Red Crescent, such as the Souq Al-Jumaa branch, and have it stamped by the Ministry of Health. Keep it for later translation and authentication.
- 2
Have the diploma or academic certificate stamped
Stamping depends on your case: bachelor’s students have the secondary diploma record stamped by the Ministry of Education; master’s and doctoral students stamp the graduation certificate or diploma and transcript. Those who attended public schools use the Ministry of Education in Hay Al-Andalus, near Mozart Sweets. Those who attended private schools use the Ministry of Education at Jazirat Al-Darn. Note for postgraduate students: in some cases the university and faculty quality office provides the stamp instead of the Ministry of Education—check with your university first.
- 3
Translate the documents into Turkish
After the health certificate and academic document are stamped, have them translated into Turkish on Al-Muqrif Street. Al-Buraq Office is one office known to scholarship students.

Authenticate the translation, then obtain Foreign Ministry authentication
Have the translated documents stamped by Judicial Expertise, beside Al-Waddan Hotel, to certify the translation, then visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tariq Al-Shatt for foreign-affairs authentication.
- 5
Prepare copies and the file before visiting the consulate
Prepare a black-and-white copy of the academic document and its translation, a copy of the health certificate and its translation, a copy of the passport’s first page, a complete printout of the acceptance letter in Turkish and English—preferably in color—plus a black-and-white copy, and the scholarship agreement after adding your name, signature, and date. Place each category of documents in a separate plastic sleeve inside one file. Preferably write your name, passport number, and scholarship number, which generally begins with LY, on the file.
- 6
Submit the file to the Turkish consulate in Tripoli
Submit the originals and copies: the academic document and translation, health certificate and translation, acceptance letter, scholarship agreement, and passport copies. Collection time varies with demand; the consulate generally operates from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
- 7
Upload documents to the scholarship website
After receiving the consulate-stamped documents and the stamped and signed scholarship agreement, scan them as clear PDFs—especially the stamps—and upload them to the scholarship website. Then wait for approval; housing and travel details generally follow.
- 8
Apply for the visa
خذ معك جواز السفر، أربع صور شخصية مقاس 5×6، خطاب القبول، عقد المنحة، الشهادة الصحية، وأي نماذج يطلبها المكتب. يمكن غالبًا تصوير الصور الشخصية في المكتب نفسه إذا لم تكن جاهزة.
- 9
Collect the visa and wait for the ticket
After approximately four to five days, you can generally collect your passport with the visa. Once the scholarship accepts the documents, it will contact you about travel timing. You choose a suitable date, after which the ticket is purchased and sent to you.
According to currently available information, bachelor’s students in Misrata who need the education authority to stamp their high school diploma record may have to travel to Tripoli and complete this step through the same Tripoli procedure. This paragraph will be updated if an official update is issued.
In the most recent year these procedures were completed, the Misrata consulate charged a stamping/authentication fee, although some students reported that no fee was charged the year before. Allow for the possibility of a small payment when visiting.
Misrata procedure step by step
- 1
Obtain the health certificate in Misrata
Begin by obtaining the health certificate from the available provider in Misrata, then keep it for later translation and authentication.
- 2
Have the academic document stamped according to degree level
Master’s and doctoral students should confirm the stamping authority—the university, quality office, or responsible body. For bachelor’s students, currently available information indicates that stamping the high school diploma record may require traveling to Tripoli and following the Ministry of Education step in the Tripoli section above.
- 3
Translate the documents into Turkish
After preparing the health certificate and stamped academic document, have them translated into Turkish. Afaq Translation Services Center is one office used by scholarship students in Misrata.

Have the translation certified by Judicial Expertise
After receiving the translation, have its accuracy certified by Judicial Expertise in Misrata.
- 5
Obtain Foreign Ministry authentication
After Judicial Expertise certification, visit the Foreign Ministry office in Misrata for foreign-affairs authentication.
- 6
Prepare copies and the file before the consulate
Prepare approximately the same file as in Tripoli: a copy of the academic document and translation, health certificate and translation, passport first page, a complete printed acceptance letter in Turkish and English—preferably in color—with a copy, and the scholarship agreement after adding your name, signature, and date. Place each group of papers in a separate plastic sleeve and write your name, passport number, and scholarship number on the file.
- 7
Submit the file to the Turkish consulate in Misrata
After preparing the file and authentications, submit the documents to the Turkish consulate in Misrata under its current instructions. Allow for the possibility of a stamping or authentication fee.
- 8
Scan and upload documents to the scholarship website
After receiving the consulate-stamped documents, scan every paper as a clear PDF—making sure every stamp and signature is visible—and upload them to the scholarship website. Then wait for approval and housing and travel details.
- 9
Apply for the visa in Misrata
Bring your passport, personal photographs, acceptance letter, scholarship agreement, health certificate, and the remaining required forms.
- 10
Collect the visa and wait for the ticket
After the visa is issued and you collect your passport, wait for the scholarship’s response to the documents. Once accepted, the scholarship contacts you about the travel date and then sends your ticket.
